David Cartwright, MA, LPC

I have been working in the field of counseling for over 20 years. Prior to that, I was a pastor for family and youth.  Based on years of practice and working with people, I know and believe that at the core of who we are is the fact we are made to experience deep and intimate relationship.  My desire is to see people who I work with grow towards wholeness and all that it encompasses from the spiritual, emotional, intellectual and the physical. Growth typically comes regardless of how difficult that journey may be.  As people are made and created in the image of God, I approach my counseling from a Christian perspective.  However, I welcome anyone regardless of their belief and I am committed to their growth and healing.

I especially gravitate toward family and couples/individual counseling along with adolescents and their myriad of issues.  I have spent considerable time working with adolescents who are high-risk due to drug and mental health issues.
