MS, Mental Health Counseling, Palm Beach Atlantic University.
My wife and I moved to Colorado from South Florida in 2012, and we really love it here. I’m proud to come from a multi-cultural family – my Father is from Iran and my Mother is from the Virgin Islands.
I’ve been working in various areas of the mental health field since 2010. I enjoy working with many different issues, both with individuals and couples. I love variety and it’s definitely one of the aspects of my job I like the most.
In Florida (where I grew up), I worked as a therapist in a church counseling center, at a University counseling center, and then in an adolescent inpatient rehab facility. I also did part-time work as a guitarist playing in bands and teaching.
I love being a therapist and most of the time it doesn’t feel much like work. I’m a passionate guy, I love to smile and connect with people. I believe therapy is about healing and growth but it’s also about discovery. Good quality therapy takes you to a deeper understanding of how you see yourself and the world. Once those things are revealed, you can really begin to heal and grow.
Picking a therapist and finding the right fit can feel overwhelming. It’s important to know that two of the major things that lead to successful outcomes in therapy is the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the client’s willingness to work hard.
I looking forward to meeting you and hearing your story. Thanks!
