Children are the heartbeat of the world, and it is such a joy to work with kiddos, to be an agent of hope in their lives and in the lives of their families. We can all learn a lot through the power of play. In my work with children, I incorporate play therapy to build rapport and to be a fun, engaging place where your child feels safe and seen.

Children often need help learning a vocabulary for their feelings and healthy ways to express them. Using tools like a sand tray, art therapy, and role play, my goal is to help empower your child to be confident in life’s conflicts and hardships. I regularly check in with parents and caregivers to establish a continuity of care, utilizing family systems theory, in hopes that the family remains healthy throughout the therapeutic process.

I work with children who struggle with:

  • Divorce
  • Processing a traumatic event
  • Adoption
  • Anger Issues
  • Relationship Issues within the family
  • Bullying
  • Self-Esteem
