Sandra is trained in providing animal assisted therapy and Archie, her certified therapy dog, joins her a couple of times a week in the office. Therapy dogs, like Archie, cultivate a nonjudgmental environment, offer emotional support, reduce stress, and encourage social interaction. Their presence can lower blood pressure, provide comfort in therapy sessions, and motivate individuals. For both people and the dogs themselves, these interactions bring a sense of purpose and happiness.
Sandra has been with her husband for over 20 years and they have a daughter together. James and Sandra first met while serving together in worship ministry in Los Angeles. After getting married and having their daughter, they moved to Colorado in 2012. They are currently actively engaged in volunteering within the Northern Colorado community.
